Acceptable use policy
In short. Use Hunting Apps to research and plan legitimate software products. Do not use it to harm people, to break the law, to attack the service, or to get around what you owe for it.
This policy is part of the terms of service. It applies to everything you do in the service: chat, hunts, uploads, the MCP connection and the GitHub handoff.
You may not use the service to
Hurt people
- Find, profile, track, expose or harass a private individual. The research agent is built to study markets and products. Do not point it at a named person.
- Collect personal data from the pages it reads, or ask it to. Needs are kept as a paraphrase, a short quote and a link, and that is all the tool is meant to hold about the people behind them.
- Plan or build products whose main use is harassment, stalking, surveillance of people without their knowledge, or spyware.
Break the law or others' rights
- Do anything illegal, or help someone else do it.
- Plan products that depend on fraud, scams, deception, fake reviews, impersonation, or pirated or unlicensed content.
- Plan sexually explicit products, face-swap or deepfake tools, unlicensed gambling, lending, trading or IPTV services, or the sale of regulated goods such as medicines, weapons or drugs.
- Copy another company's brand, code, text, images or protected design. The rebuild tools describe public behaviour so you can build your own product. They are not a licence to clone.
- Upload or push content you do not have the right to share. Remember that a GitHub repository created by the handoff is public.
Attack or abuse the service
- Probe, scan or test the service for weaknesses without our written permission. To report a vulnerability, write to [email protected].
- Try to read another account's data, or to get the agent to ignore its instructions, reveal its prompts, or act outside your account, including through text planted in a web page or file.
- Use bots or scripts to drive the app, or run the MCP connection beyond its published limits (60 calls a minute and 2,000 a day for each token). Overload that affects other users will be stopped.
- Use the search tools to send traffic at a third-party site, or to get past a site's access controls.
Get around payment
- Create several accounts to collect the free starter allowance, use disposable email addresses for that, or share an account to split the cost.
- Resell credits or access, or run the service as a back end for your own paid product.
- Dispute a payment you owe.
About AI output
Do not present generated verdicts, summaries or briefs to others as checked fact, as professional advice, or as the work of a person where the law requires you to say a machine produced it. Check the linked sources first. You are responsible for how you use what the service produces.
What happens if you break this policy
Depending on how serious it is, we may stop a job, remove content, warn you, limit your account, suspend it or close it. We may report illegal activity to the authorities. Where we can, we tell you what happened and let you respond. You can appeal by writing to [email protected].
Report a problem
If you see something that breaks this policy, or content that infringes your rights, write to [email protected] with a link and a short description.
