Changelog

New things and real improvements, newest first, in the order they shipped.

Updated 26 October 2026

  1. Improved

A calmer, more readable colour scheme

All text now meets the strictest contrast level, form fields have a visible edge in both themes, and the brand green is kept for buttons and marks, so the one thing to press stands out.

    Fixed

The Close the account button is readable

It was drawn as a green button with red text. Destructive buttons are now outlined in red on their own.

    New

How it works, the kinds of search, a real verdict and honest comparisons

The site now explains the method step by step, sets the seven kinds of search side by side on one page, shows one recorded run with every source linked, and compares Hunting Apps with doing it by hand, a chat assistant and market research reports.

    New

A legal notice and a page that says when something is missing

The site now has an Impressum with the operator’s details, and a page that really answers 404 when an address does not exist.

  2. New

Card payments, in three credit packs

You can buy 700 credits for $10, 2,000 for $25 or 5,000 for $50. Credits never expire, nothing renews, and a refund within 14 days takes back what you did not use.

    New

Sign in with an emailed link

No password to set or forget. The link works once and expires after 20 minutes. Opening it creates your account the first time. Google and GitHub sign-in work as before.

    New

Terms, privacy policy and a list of every company that handles your data

The terms, privacy policy, acceptable use policy, refund policy and the subprocessor list are public, and each says what the product actually does with your data.

    Improved

    One free allowance per person

The free credits go to one account per person, network and browser. A second sign-up still works. It starts without the free credits.

    Improved

Stricter rules for what a page can run

The app now refuses scripts it did not ship itself, so a piece of hostile text on a page it read cannot run code in your browser.

  3. New

Check it: one press for the market check and the verdict

A candidate can be run through the checks that fit its kind and ends in a written verdict. It stops early when an early check rules the idea out.

    Improved

Every hunt ends in a result you can act on

Size up a market, improve my product, find a component and check an idea now close with a verdict, a few facts and cards you can take into a project or pass on.

  4. New

Shape it: what you would build at four sizes

For each candidate you see a niche version, a first version, a growing product and a full one, each graded on reach, edge and effort, with the features that belong to each size.

  5. New

A verdict with grades, rivals and sources

Each candidate opens on a summary: the problem, the idea and whether you can win, with a grade for each part, the competitor table and a link for every claim.

    New

    Competitor check

The agent reads up to twelve rivals from their own sites, for prices or for features, and says plainly when a rival’s site would not load instead of guessing.

    New

Read-only connection for your own AI tools

Connect Claude, Cursor and other tools by their address. They can read your projects, files, build briefs, hunts and candidates, and nothing else. You can disconnect at any time.

  6. New

Sparks: a daily feed of graded ideas

Each day the feed pairs a need people pay to solve with something newly possible, and grades each idea on competition, distribution and market size. Related needs are grouped into collisions you can hunt.

    New

Check an idea you already have

Describe it and the agent looks for who already sells it, what they charge and whether anyone is asking for it, then gives a verdict without a candidate search.

  7. New

Go further: ideas from distant fields

A hunt can borrow a principle from another field and propose an idea. Each idea must answer a need the hunt found, and it is marked as invented, never as evidence.

  8. New

Rebuild a proven app, and upload files to a project chat

Find apps with proven demand and a rebuild case written from public pages, or check one app you name. Project chats also read PDFs, Word files, photos and text.

  9. New

A start screen with kinds of search

Pick what you are after: something to build, a free engine to wrap, a market to size up, a product to improve, a component to reuse. Each kind runs its own method.

  10. Improved

Search by meaning, and a check on rivals’ unmet requests

Repository search now ranks by meaning and words together. Before a market is passed for being served, the agent reads rivals’ public request boards and complaints for gaps.

  11. New

Genius: a research agent you can steer

The agent plans a hunt, runs it step by step, shows the plan and lets you steer it in a chat while it works.

  12. New

    A layout for phones

The same screens now rearrange for a small screen, with a tab bar, a drawer for the lists and the chat under the document.

  13. New

    Hand a project to GitHub

Push a build brief to a new repository in your own account, with a README and guide files for the tool that writes the code. The repository is public, and the page says so first.

    New

    Free starter credits and codes

A new account starts with free credits, and a code can add more. Credits are held before a run and only what it used is charged. A failed run returns them all.

  14. New

A billing page with your balance and every charge

See what is left, what each kind of action costs and where each credit went.

  15. New

The first version: hunts, a library of sources and projects

An agent searches the web for problems people pay to solve and keeps every page it read. You turn what survives into a project with documents and a chat.
